I have had this roller coaster of emotions- I can do this for three more months no problem and then some days you wake up sad or angry or disillusioned. It’s a strange time.
The thing that rises to the surface is how much we fill our lives with things that don’t matter. We give ourselves busy work, things that we have to do, places that we have to be. Our kids don’t care. Now we are doing puzzles and playing cards. Now we have a nightly routine. We are taking a walk every night. These are things we should have always been doing. It shows the value of togetherness. What were we filling our time with before? Did they really matter?
